Developed by catering software specialist, Fretwell-Downing Hospitality, Saffron Nutrition is a market-leading web-based nutritional analysis system. The software holds a comprehensive database of nutritional values according to the food industry’s bible, McCance and Widdowson, together with manufacturers’ data on prepared foods. By entering information such as the ingredients, quantities and cooking method, the sophisticated software produces a full nutritional breakdown. The results of the analysis are presented as easy-to-read reports including the FSA’s traffic light system.
Saffron Nutrition is enabling Milk Link Foodservice to help support caterers by creating balanced recipes with their branded portfolio of products displaying the five key nutrient values for each dish.
